Got a Problem with Water Pump

Posted on May 6th, 2010

Recently, I got a problem with my water pump. I don’t know why but it seems something broken and didn’t work. This water pump is now almost 5 year of age. Yeah, it’s already old for a power tool but I’m sure it has a durability more than 5 years. With a good care, power tools can be used more than 10 years. So, what’s the problem? A friend of mine said that it’s all a result of new drilling for the source of water. The long distance of the bathroom (where the water pump installed) to the source of water causes a week pressure and hence make the water pump don’t work well. To solve the problem, the water pump should be moved as close as possible to the source of water. The other way is buying the new higher specification of power tools.

I tried the first option to solve the problem as I’m sure that the machine is ok and in a good condition. The only risk to do this option is that I got to place the water pump outside my house. And yeah, it works! The water pump is now placed outside of the house with a wooden box cover it. God, thanks for solving this problem.
